Chemistry Resume

There are a few general areas that Chemists work in and you must focus on highlighting the skills and experience that you have adopted relating to the area applied for. In fact, it’s generally a requirement of the position that you do have some previous experience within the relevant area. Most positions fall into the areas of developing new products, quality testing using qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis, conducting research through experiments and teaching. Experience or in-depth knowledge of the industry is also looked upon favorably e.g. if a position is in a mining company, knowledge or experience within the mining industry will be advantageous.
