Armed Security Guard

Guards company vicinity from illegal entry and protects properties, such as financial assets and equipment, from theft. Contributes to overall prevention of crime in areas of assignment. Promptly reports criminal incidences and presence of suspicious individuals to law enforcement officials. Keeps detailed and regular documentation of occurrence of incidents or the absence thereof. Must be knowledgeable and experienced in using firearms.

Specific Tasks:

Verifies identity of persons entering the vicinity.
Inspects incoming packages to check for any hazardous or illegal material.
Ensures premises are well illuminated and access points, like emergency doors and escape routes, are free from obstruction.
Sounds alarms during emergency.
